“On September 24, in New York, within the framework of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Karapetyan, participated in the annual meeting of the Ministerial Informal Network of the International Criminal Court, organized by Liechtenstein and Austria.

«Սեպտեմբերի 24-ին Նյու Յորքում՝ ՄԱԿ Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 81-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում, ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի և միջազգային առևտրի նախարարության գլխավոր քարտուղար Դավիթ Կարապետյանը մասնակցել է Լիխտենշտայնի և Ավստրիայի կողմից կազմակերպված Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի նախարարական ոչ պաշտոնական ցանցի տարեկան հանդիպմանը։

In his speech, Davit Karapetyan emphasized the importance of maintaining the effectiveness and credibility of international legal structures in the context of growing international crises. He noted that Armenia supports the independent and impartial implementation of its mandate by the International Criminal Court in accordance with the Rome Statute and the principles of international law.

Իր ելույթում Դավիթ Կարապետյանն ընդգծել է աճող միջազգային արդի ճգնաժամերի համատեքստում միջազգային իրավական կառույցների արդյունավետության և վստահելիության պահպանման կարևորությունը։ Նա նշել է, որ Հայաստանն աջակցում է Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի կողմից իր մանդատի անկախ և անաչառ իրականացմանը՝ Հռոմի կանոնադրությանը և միջազգային իրավունքի սկզբունքներին համապատասխան։

The Secretary General of the ICC presented the work carried out to develop national legislative and institutional capacities within the framework of Armenia’s involvement in the Rome Statute system.

ԱԳՄԱՆ գլխավոր քարտուղարը ներկայացրել է Հռոմի կանոնադրության համակարգում Հայաստանի ներգրավվածության շրջանակներում ազգային օրենսդրական և ինստիտուցիոնալ կարողությունների զարգացման ուղղությամբ իրականացվող աշխատանքները։

In this context, the importance of expanding technical cooperation and the exchange of professional experience was emphasized.

Այս համատեքստում կարևորվել է տեխնիկական համագործակցության և մասնագիտական փորձի փոխանակման ընդլայնումը։

David Karapetyan reaffirmed Armenia’s readiness to continue cooperation with members of the informal ministerial network, the Assembly of States Parties to the Rome Statute, and the International Criminal Court, in order to strengthen an effective, independent, impartial, and victims’ rights-based international criminal justice system,” the statement released by the IACHR reads.

Դավիթ Կարապետյանը վերահաստատել է Հայաստանի պատրաստակամությունը շարունակելու համագործակցությունը նախարարական ոչ պաշտոնական ցանցի անդամների, Հռոմի կանոնադրության մասնակից պետությունների վեհաժողովի և Միջազգային քրեական դատարանի հետ՝ արդյունավետ, անկախ, անաչառ և տուժողների իրավունքների վրա հիմնված միջազգային քրեական արդարադատության համակարգի ամրապնդման ուղղությամբ»,- ասված է ԱԳՄԱ-ի տարածած հաղորդագրությունում։
