Suren Papikyan sent a telegram of condolences to Kazakhstan's Defense Minister Dauren Kosanov

The telegram, in particular, states:

Հեռագրում, մասնավորապես, ասված է․

“On behalf of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia and personally on my behalf, I express my deepest condolences and sympathy on the tragedy that occurred on September 24, 2026 during the implementation of a combat training task within the framework of the naval exercises of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Kazakh sector of the Caspian Sea, which resulted in the death of servicemen.

«ՀՀ պաշտպանության նախարարության և անձամբ իմ անունից խորին ցավակցություն և վշտակցություն եմ հայտնում 2026 թվականի սեպտեմբերի 24-ին Կասպից ծովի ղազախստանյան հատվածում Ղազախստանի Հանրապետության զինված ուժերի ռազմածովային ուժերի զորավարժությունների շրջանակում ուսումնամարտական խնդրի կատարման ընթացքում տեղի ունեցած ողբերգության կապակցությամբ, որը հանգեցրել է զինծառայողների մահվան։

Expressing condolences to the relatives and friends of the deceased, I wish them endurance, and to the injured a speedy recovery.”
