The EU will not welcome Armenian products with open arms: Russian Foreign Ministry

The internal market of the European Union is competitive and regulated, and there will be no favorable conditions for Armenian products there.
Եվրոպական միության ներքին շուկան մրցակցային է և կարգավորվող, այնտեղ հայկական արտադրանքի համար բարենպաստ պայմաններ չեն լինի։
This was stated by Vladislav Maslennikov, Director of the Department for European Affairs of the Russian Foreign Ministry, in an interview with RIA Novosti.

“The harsh reality is that the internal market of the EU is very competitive and regulated, and Armenian products will definitely not be welcomed there with open arms,” he said.

“The harsh reality is that the EU internal market is very competitive and regulated, and Armenian products will definitely not be welcomed there with open arms,” Maslennikov said.
«Դաժան իրականությունն այն է, որ ԵՄ ներքին շուկան շատ մրցակցային և կարգավորվող է, և այնտեղ հայկական արտադրանքին միանշանակ գրկաբաց չեն սպասելու»,- ասել է Մասլեննիկովը։
At the same time, he stated that, as practice shows, candidate countries may wait for EU membership not even for years, but for decades.
Միաժամանակ, նա հայտարարել է, թե ինչպես ցույց է տալիս պրակտիկան, թեկնածու երկրները կարող են ԵՄ անդամակցությանը սպասել ոչ թե նույնիսկ տարիներ, այլ տասնամյակներ։
Let us recall that the day before yesterday, the EU Council unanimously voted in favor of temporary trade privileges for Armenian products in order to facilitate their export access to the EU market and mitigate the impact of Russian restrictions.
Հիշեցնենք, որ նախօրեին ԵՄ Խորհուրդը միաձայն կողմ էր քվեարկել հայկական արտադրանքի համար ժամանակավոր առևտրային արտոնություններին՝ ԵՄ շուկա դրանց արտահանման մուտքը հեշտացնելու և Ռուսաստանի սահմանափակումների ազդեցությունը մեղմելու նպատակով։
