Mirzoyan and Syrian Foreign Minister discussed the development of bilateral relations

On September 23, within the framework of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Syria Asad al-Shaibani.

Սեպտեմբերի 23-ին ՄԱԿ ԳԱ 81-րդ նստաշրջանի շրջանակներում՝ ՀՀ արտաքին գործերի և միջազգային առևտրի նախարար Արարատ Միրզոյանը հանդիպում է ունեցել Սիրիայի արտաքին գործերի և արտագաղթյալների հարցերով նախարար Ասադ ալ-Շայբանիի հետ:

In continuation of previous contacts, the interlocutors discussed the possibilities of developing bilateral relations between Armenia and Syria, including through the activation of contacts and high-level mutual visits.

Ի շարունակություն նախորդ շփումների՝ զրուցակիցները քննարկել են Հայաստան-Սիրիա երկկողմ հարաբերությունների զարգացման հնարավորությունները, այդ թվում՝ շփումների ակտիվացման և բարձր մակարդակով փոխայցելությունների միջոցով:

They exchanged views on the prospects for promoting cooperation in various fields. Both sides emphasized their willingness to continue cooperation in addressing humanitarian issues.

Մտքեր են փոխանակվել տարբեր ոլորտներում համագործակցության խթանման հեռանկարների շուրջ: Երկուստեք ընդգծվել է հումանիտար հարցերի հասցեագրման ուղղությամբ համագործակցությունը շարունակելու պատրաստակամությունը:

Minister Mirzoyan also noted the role of the Armenian community in Syria as a factor closely connecting the two peoples.
