Armenia to be offered 100 scholarships

The meeting was attended by RA Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, Chairwoman of the Tourism Committee of the RA Ministry of Economy Anushik Avetyan, RA Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Kingdom of Spain, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the UN World Tourism Organization Sos Avetisyan, UN Resident Coordinator in Armenia Françoise Jacob, and representatives of the organization.

Հանդիպմանը մասնակցել են ՀՀ առողջապահության նախարար Անահիտ Ավանեսյանը, ՀՀ էկոնոմիկայի նախարարության Զբոսաշրջության կոմիտեի նախագահ Անուշիկ Ավետյանը, Իսպանիայի Թագավորությունում ՀՀ արտակարգ և լիազոր դեսպան, ՄԱԿ-ի Զբոսաշրջության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունում ՀՀ մշտական ներկայացուցիչ Սոս Ավետիսյանը, Հայաստանում ՄԱԿ-ի մշտական համակարգող Ֆրանսուազ Ժակոբը և կազմակերպության ներկայացուցիչներ։

At the start of the meeting, Minister Gevorg Papoyan introduced Sheikha Nasser Al-Nuaisi to the newly appointed Chairwoman of the Tourism Committee. Sheikha Nasser Al-Nuaisi congratulated Anoushik Avetyan on her appointment, emphasizing that the UN World Tourism Organization is ready to support the development of Armenia’s tourism sector and cooperate with the new team.

Հանդիպման մեկնարկին նախարար Գևորգ Պապոյանը Շեյխա Նասեր Ալ-Նուեյսին ներկայացրել է Զբոսաշրջության կոմիտեի նորանշանակ նախագահին։ Շեյխա Նասեր Ալ-Նուեյսը շնորհավորել է Անուշիկ Ավետյանին՝ նշանակման կապակցությամբ՝ ընդգծելով, որ ՄԱԿ-ի Զբոսաշրջության համաշխարհային կազմակերպությունը պատրաստ է աջակցել Հայաստանի զբոսաշրջության ոլորտի զարգացմանը և համագործակցել նոր թիմի հետ։

During the meeting, the prospects for the development of tourism in Armenia, the presentation of Armenia’s tourism potential in international markets, the direction of improving the sector’s strategy and data analysis were discussed.

Հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Հայաստանի զբոսաշրջության զարգացման հեռանկարները, միջազգային շուկաներում Հայաստանի զբոսաշրջային ներուժի ներկայացման, ոլորտի ռազմավարության և տվյալների վերլուծության կատարելագործման ուղղությունները։

Special attention was paid to the opportunities for the development of medical tourism. The parties emphasized the importance of cooperation between the healthcare and tourism sectors in order to present Armenia in the international market as an attractive destination for medical tourism and effectively use the sector’s development potential.

Առանձնահատուկ անդրադարձ է կատարվել բժշկական զբոսաշրջության զարգացման հնարավորություններին։ Կողմերը կարևորել են առողջապահության և զբոսաշրջության ոլորտների համագործակցությունը՝ Հայաստանը միջազգային շուկայում որպես բժշկական զբոսաշրջության գրավիչ ուղղություն ներկայացնելու և ոլորտի զարգացման ներուժն արդյունավետ օգտագործելու նպատակով։

Sheikha Nasser Al-Nuaisi informed that Armenia will be offered 100 scholarships to participate in the courses of the UN World Tourism Organization’s online academy in order to develop the knowledge and professional skills of specialists in the sector.

Շեյխա Նասեր Ալ-Նուեյսը տեղեկացրել է, որ Հայաստանին կառաջարկվի 100 կրթաթոշակ՝ ՄԱԿ-ի Զբոսաշրջության համաշխարհային կազմակերպության առցանց ակադեմիայի դասընթացներին մասնակցելու համար՝ ոլորտի մասնագետների գիտելիքների և մասնագիտական կարողությունների զարգացման նպատակով։

The opportunities for the development of sustainable tourism, a wider presentation of Armenia’s tourism potential through international platforms, and the provision of technical assistance by the organization were also discussed.

Քննարկվել են նաև կայուն զբոսաշրջության զարգացման, միջազգային հարթակների միջոցով Հայաստանի զբոսաշրջային ներուժի առավել լայն ներկայացման և կազմակերպության կողմից տեխնիկական աջակցության տրամադրման հնարավորությունները։
