Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York in the coming days. The high-level week will bring together heads of state and government from around the world, and the general political debate will start on September 22.

Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը առաջիկա օրերին Նյու Յորքում կմասնակցի ՄԱԿ-ի Գլխավոր ասամբլեայի 81-րդ նստաշրջանին։ Բարձր մակարդակի շաբաթը հավաքելու է աշխարհի շուրջ 130 պետությունների և կառավարությունների ղեկավարների, իսկ ընդհանուր քաղաքական բանավեճը մեկնարկելու է սեպտեմբերի 22-ին։

Pashinyan’s participation in the Concordia Annual Summit is also planned as part of this visit. The organizers have already published a separate meeting entitled “A Fireside Chat with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan” and included it in the thematic direction “Democracy, Security & Geopolitical Risk”. The detailed agenda of the conversation has not yet been published.

Այս այցի շրջանակում նախատեսված է նաև Փաշինյանի մասնակցությունը Concordia Annual Summit-ին։ Կազմակերպիչներն արդեն հրապարակել են առանձին հանդիպում՝ “A Fireside Chat with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan” խորագրով և այն ներառել «Democracy, Security & Geopolitical Risk» թեմատիկ ուղղության մեջ։ Զրույցի մանրամասն օրակարգը դեռ հրապարակված չէ։

Concordia is held during the days of the UN General Assembly High-Level Week in New York and brings together political leaders, business, international organizations and representatives of the public sector on one platform. This year’s summit is scheduled for September 20–23. The organization presents it as a non-partisan global platform operating in parallel with the UN General Assembly Week.

Concordia-ն անցկացվում է ՄԱԿ ԳԱ բարձր մակարդակի շաբաթվա օրերին Նյու Յորքում և մի հարթակում հավաքում է քաղաքական առաջնորդների, բիզնեսի, միջազգային կազմակերպությունների ու հասարակական հատվածի ներկայացուցիչների։ Այս տարվա գագաթնաժողովը նախատեսված է սեպտեմբերի 20–23-ին։ Կազմակերպությունն այն ներկայացնում է որպես ՄԱԿ ԳԱ շաբաթին զուգահեռ գործող ոչ կուսակցական գլոբալ հարթակ։

Pashinyan’s participation this year has a special political context.

Փաշինյանի մասնակցությունն այս տարի առանձնահատուկ քաղաքական համատեքստ ունի։

A year ago, from the same UN rostrum, the Armenian Prime Minister publicly formulated his expectations for 2026: to return to the 81st session with a report on the signing of a peace agreement, the opening of the Armenia-Turkey border, and significant progress in the TRIPP program. Those words are now turning into a political milestone. The visit to New York takes place after the August 8 Washington process, in the context of the preliminary peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the deeper involvement of the United States.

Մեկ տարի առաջ ՄԱԿ-ի նույն ամբիոնից Հայաստանի վարչապետը հրապարակավ ձևակերպեց 2026-ի իր սպասումը․ 81-րդ նստաշրջանին վերադառնալ խաղաղության համաձայնագրի ստորագրման, Հայաստան-Թուրքիա սահմանի բացման և TRIPP ծրագրի զգալի առաջընթացի մասին հաշվետվությամբ։ Այդ խոսքերը հիմա վերածվում են քաղաքական նշաձողի։ Նյու Յորքի այցը տեղի է ունենում արդեն Վաշինգտոնի օգոստոսի 8-ի գործընթացից հետո, Հայաստանի և Ադրբեջանի միջև նախաստորագրված խաղաղության համաձայնագրի և ԱՄՆ-ի ավելի խոր ներգրավման պայմաններում։

Therefore, the UN General Assembly speech will not be an ordinary annual speech. It is an opportunity to present Armenia’s new foreign policy position: the peace process, the opening of regional communications, TRIPP, the agenda for relations with Turkey, and the new political architecture formed around Armenia’s sovereignty.

Ուստի ՄԱԿ ԳԱ-ի ելույթը սովորական տարեկան խոսք չի լինելու։ Այն հնարավորություն է ներկայացնելու Հայաստանի արտաքին քաղաքական նոր դիրքը՝ խաղաղության գործընթացը, տարածաշրջանային հաղորդակցությունների բացումը, TRIPP-ը, Թուրքիայի հետ հարաբերությունների օրակարգը և Հայաստանի ինքնիշխանության շուրջ ձևավորված նոր քաղաքական ճարտարապետությունը։

The Concordia format gives the same topics a different audience. The circles of influence that participate in the formation of investment, technological, infrastructural, and political decisions are present here. For Armenia, it is particularly important to link the peace agenda to economic outcomes. The international value of TRIPP will ultimately be measured in terms of roads, rail, energy connections, digital infrastructure, and investment.

Concordia-ի ձևաչափը նույն թեմաներին տալիս է մեկ այլ լսարան։ Այստեղ ներկա են ազդեցության այն շրջանակները, որոնք մասնակցում են ներդրումային, տեխնոլոգիական, ենթակառուցվածքային և քաղաքական որոշումների ձևավորմանը։ Հայաստանի համար հատկապես կարևոր է խաղաղության օրակարգը կապել տնտեսական արդյունքի հետ։ TRIPP-ի միջազգային արժեքը ի վերջո չափվելու է ճանապարհներով, երկաթուղով, էներգետիկ կապերով, թվային ենթակառուցվածքով և ներդրումներով։

Pashinyan’s main task in New York is to show the picture of Armenia emerging after peace.

Նյու Յորքում Փաշինյանի հիմնական խնդիրն է ցույց տալ խաղաղությունից հետո բացվող Հայաստանի պատկերը։

August 8 created a political framework. The next stage requires translating that framework into economic ties, international investment, and long-term security gains.

Օգոստոսի 8-ը ստեղծեց քաղաքական շրջանակ։ Հաջորդ փուլը պահանջում է այդ շրջանակը վերածել տնտեսական կապերի, միջազգային ներդրման և երկարաժամկետ անվտանգության շահի։

This is where the importance of the Concordia platform lies. Armenia is getting an opportunity to present its new regional role beyond the diplomatic halls of the UN to those people and institutions that can participate in its materialization.

Concordia-ի հարթակի կարևորությունն էլ հենց այստեղ է։ Հայաստանը հնարավորություն է ստանում իր նոր տարածաշրջանային դերը ներկայացնել ՄԱԿ-ի դիվանագիտական դահլիճներից դուրս՝ այն մարդկանց և կառույցներին, որոնք կարող են մասնակցել դրա նյութականացմանը։
