September 19, 2026 Niagara Falls will be illuminated in the colors of the Armenian flag on September 21 to mark the 35th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, the Armenian Embassy in Canada said. “On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Armenia, Niagara Falls will be illuminated in the colors of the Armenian flag on September 21 at 10:00 p.m. We look forward to celebrating this special occasion with you,” the embassy said in a press release. On the same day, the Armenian flag will be waved in front of Ottawa City Hall, while the Ottawa Sign will be illuminated in the colors of the Armenian flag throughout the day.
