The West is openly interfering in the political processes of Armenia: Shoigu

“Pro-Western forces are openly and unprecedentedly trying to interfere in the political situation. In Transcaucasia, we can see this not only in Armenia, but also in Georgia,” Shoigu said.

«Արևմտամետ ուժերը բացահայտ և աննախադեպ կերպով փորձում են միջամտել քաղաքական իրավիճակին։ Անդրկովկասում դա կարող ենք տեսնել ոչ միայն Հայաստանի, այլև Վրաստանի օրինակով»,– ասել է Շոյգուն։

According to him, disagreements between states can usually be resolved, and in the event of contradictions, it is necessary to understand who can benefit from the deepening of tensions between neighboring peoples and states.

Նրա խոսքով՝ պետությունների միջև տարաձայնությունները, որպես կանոն, կարող են լուծվել, իսկ հակասությունների ի հայտ գալու դեպքում անհրաժեշտ է հասկանալ, թե ում կարող է ձեռնտու լինել հարևան ժողովուրդների և պետությունների միջև լարվածության խորացումը։

Shoigu insisted that, in his assessment, Western forces are behind such processes, which are interested in maintaining control over profitable sectors of the economy, transport and logistics corridors, and natural resources.

Շոյգուն պնդել է, որ նման գործընթացների հետևում, իր գնահատմամբ, կանգնած են արևմտյան ուժեր, որոնք շահագրգռված են պահպանել վերահսկողությունը տնտեսության շահութաբեր ոլորտների, տրանսպորտային և լոգիստիկ միջանցքների ու բնական ռեսուրսների նկատմամբ։

In this context, the Secretary of the Russian Security Council referred to the recent statement made by the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili. According to Shoigu, Papuashvili noted that escalation with Russia could be in the interests of Germany or Lithuania, but not Georgia.

Այս համատեքստում ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի քարտուղարը վկայակոչել է Վրաստանի խորհրդարանի խոսնակ Շալվա Պապուաշվիլիի վերջերս արած հայտարարությունը։ Ըստ Շոյգուի՝ Պապուաշվիլին նշել էր, որ Ռուսաստանի հետ էսկալացիան կարող է բխել Գերմանիայի կամ Լիտվայի շահերից, բայց ոչ՝ Վրաստանի։
