US President Donald Trump has criticized the Democratic Party, claiming that Democrats had led the United States into a "dark age" and that his administration had turned it into a "golden age."

He also stated that if Democrats returned to power, the United States would face a "massive depression," using the word "depression" for the economic crisis.
