Russia will not sign any agreements with Europeans in areas that are related to the country's security, even if relations with the West are normalized, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said. This was reported by the Interfax news agency.

"When and if any European country wants to resume a serious dialogue, we will first listen to what they have in mind, what they can offer. And then we will decide whether it satisfies us or not. But I can assure you of one thing: in areas that depend on the security of the state, we will not sign any agreements, any agreements with Europeans and we are not going to do so," he said, speaking at the session "New Architecture of the World" of the International Youth Festival in Yekaterinburg.
