The successful holding of the Tour of Armenia is the result of teamwork: Zhanna Andreasyan

“This was a completely new experience for us. Our country had never held an international multi-day cycling race. We had to learn a lot during the process, be flexible and operational, and be able to solve unforeseen issues that arose,” the Minister said, emphasizing that the successful holding of the tournament is the result of teamwork.

According to Zhanna Andreasyan, the Sports Management Center was established about two years ago in order to have a specialized structure in the sports sector, bring relations with federations to an institutional level, and undertake the organization of important sports events. The successful organization of the tournament was an effective effort aimed at this goal. Recalling that the Tour of Armenia is planned to be made annual, the Minister noted that the analysis of the experience will contribute to a more organized holding of the tournament in the coming years.
